Default Outrageous quote

I was at Autozone getting a new battery put in and the installer sys to me " My son would sell his sister to own your car".
I had to think about that for a moment. This would make her (the installers) his daughter. Strangly strange

Almost as strange as your spelling? I'm still trying to decipher what 'Staragly' was supposed to be.

But more on point: Maybe it's an adopted daughter? A half daughter? A step daughter? Or maybe it was just metaphorical.

I guess the real question on here should be:

For some reason this story reminds me of this:

Oops ,missed says. I think I'll just leave it misspelled. One chance at an edit is enough.

Probably a first time parent in Beijing.

Am I the only one that thought this was going to be a thread about an outrageously high insurance or repair quote?

The strange part to me is the son. It's not like the father was offering his daughter for your car.
