I know... I was just j/k. I searched on ebrake and top...( and already knew SC_Highlander had written that thread up some time back ). Good luck...its a great, simple pimpin' mod. Aaaaand, its absolutely essential when it rains and you just want to flip the lid up on a slow roll. Please...no faster than 25mph or so...and even then, no breeze. Otherwise, consider your roof a parachute .

Why can't you pull the handbrake at 25mph?

...errrm...okay, I was waiting for my 56K modem to include a smilie in alexf20c's question. But apparently its a legit query . Alright, I'll play along. Its a single click on the e-brake once the mod is done that will give you the flip-top action so desired. However, raise or lower the lid at 25mph or greater and you chance damaging your roof/frame as it catches air. How fast you go when pulling a single click on the e-brake is entirely up to you.

Also, the vehicle has to be going <8mph to trip the sensor. I was just kidding about the handbrake.

You really shouldn't take me so seriously.
