Is it worth it? Is the performance gain noticable? How much would it cost to have it installed? Also, what is a core charge? Thanks

The core charge is the value of a standard throttle body. You pay the price of the boring service plus core charge, then after you replace yours and send yours back, they refund the core charge. This way you only pay for the service, and don't have to send your throttle body in and be off the road for a week.

Im considering this mod also Eze. I spoke with Pro Flow on friday and they are charging $124.00 (US) for the service and $12 (ground) $23 (air) for shipping. They wouldnt claim any performance gains other than more air and fuel=more power.
Now my dilema is to go with the Pro-flow or the Spoon TB.
Ive never found any testing that pitted the Spoon against the Pro Flow, but it seems I remember the Spoon unit costing a bit more.

I don't understand here.. you guys are:

A) Replacing the stock TB with a PF TB
B) Sending the stock TB to be bored by PF
C) Replacing the stock TB with a PF TB, and having the PF TB bored
D) None of the above
E) All of the above

You pay the $150 and deposit, Pro-Flow sends you a bored out TB, then you swap it with yours, send yours back, and they give you your deposit back.

B and C.

PF bought a new TB and bores it out. A sends his TB in, gets that bored new TB, and PF keeps A's TB and bore it. B sends in his TB, gets A's bored TB, and PF now keeps B's TB and bore it, and so on and so on.

So when you buy a TB it's actually a stock TB that's used? And the cost is 150, plus your stock TB must be sent to them in X number of days?
