After Returning from Chattanooga (saw someone driving one down there) I washed and waxed my S, and realized 4 small paint chips on the side of the car. Not caused by dings, but just chips. Are the S' prone to paint chipping? Thanks.

No more suceptible than any other car out there. The color makes a difference though...if you have a silverstone you don't notice rock chips...if you have black or yellow...well your gonna notice it a lot more!

 

That's what I was hoping, I just wasn't sure if their was a defect that was in the paint. Fortunatley, I have a white S, and like the silver, the chips are not so noticable.
