I have a 2002 S2000 in Berlina black have alot of little paint chips!! Is it worth painting this model over??? Whats the cost of a new Paint job ????? I was looking at the new 350zs and looking at the newness of those cars but the S2000 still has the look and performance.... Car and Driver article....How much would a paint job be or should I just get a new Model like 2004/2005?????? Has anyone repainted their cars and what should I look for in prepping this car for new paint thanks for any input!!!!

I say go ahead and repaint it! I always thought Civic Si Electron Blue would look sick on the S, IMHO. Get ready to spend some money, although lots cheaper than upgrading models!
Oh yeah a decent paint job will cost roughly $2000, correct me if i'm wrong though.

A decent paint job will cost from $2500 to $4000. If you're thinking about upgrading, might as well save the dough and apply it to the upgrade

Repaint it, I did. I did it though just because I love Monte Carlo Blue. Imola Orange would be real nice though. Here's a pic of mine:

BTW, my paint job was $3150.

You know my input on this but hey.....

I would say that you can either live with the rock chips or if you wanted to repaint it the same color, it's a lot cheaper. THen the $$ you save, you can look into gettin the Supra in 2k5

Factory paint is the only paint for me. Buy a new car and do yourself a favor next time and immediately put on the 3M urethane film treatment on the car. NO MORE rock chips.....and the "Factory" original paint stays perfect. Rock chips means "sell car" get new car.

Buy the 350Z. You obviously don't get it.
