Default paint life on GPW

I just got a 03' GPW, it has 14,000 miles on it, and appears to be in great shape. The more time I spend with it, I have noticed in places, even after a new wax, that the finish doesn't feel as glassy to the touch as others.

I know its not a pearly finish like my TSX or the Sebring Silver 02, I used to have, but I 'm not familiar with white. What should I expect, it is my favorite color and I had my honda dealer look for this specific car for me, and certify it.

What do you guys suggest?

Maybe you should try to claybar it. It would probably feel 'glassier' after a nice claybar and wax job.

My '03 GPW has 40k miles and the paint is pristene except for some tiny rock chips. I use Zaino on my car and did clay it.

Spend some time in the Wash & Wax section.

I agree with the other two posts. Use Mother's clay bar and then a couple coats of Zaino. The paint should look and feel like new when your done.
