Paint a PCX oil filter?

Default Paint a PCX oil filter?

I know some of you are thinkin... WTF! But i was bored, and my poor s2000 is still at the shop. So i was in the garage and i saw my pcx filter and a can of red spray paint.

Has anyone painted their oil filter before?

I actually tried it..
The paint just ran off... Now i gotta go buy another filter

What were you thinking? Don't you know it will void your warranty? It says right on the box "do not paint." Well, anyway, did you do it Ferrari red?

Why not paint it. Mugen do and make it worth 4 times as much.

I confess that my engine bay is a blue free zone. But I use the K&N filters that are white and look pretty good down there.

You need to give it a light sand and maybe use some ESP (Every Surface Preparation) primer on it first.

Now when you start installing neons on it that is too far!

I didn't care if i had a blue oil filter, lol. I was just bored so i messed around.
