I been playing around with some CF cloth and fiberglass but recently I've been playing with painting it. Tell me what you think about it. This is my Gas cover PAINTED on top of my REAL Carbon creations CF trunk lid.

 

What'd you use for pattern a drawer liner or cheese cloth? Ive done some of those as well. Some of the airbrush courses for customer paint classes show that technique.

 

looks good, but i figured out which one was paint and which was real cf by just looking.

but i bet from good distance away, you cant tell the diff.

 

I used the kitchen cabinet mat. if I were to do something small or low to the ground like a front lip or maybe interior pieces I might be able to get away with it

 

eh, not a big fan of fakey carbon fiber

as far as the paint job-looks good

 

nice paint job, but you can tell which one is fake cf especially when light hits it. i won't put that on thats just me thowe.

 

I prefer real CF painted to be body color....but that's just me.

you can tell, the difference, but good job. its a cheep way to look good. sounds kind ricer but it good with me.

 

i heard that thats actually my oem gas cover but i painted it to match the car it was really just to try it out on something get different views and what not. Thanks for all the compliments on the paint job though
