Default Painted Headlight Assembly

I painted the interior of my headlight assembly silver. I think it looks pretty cool. Tell me what you guys think. I have some friends that have other colors and am going to probably do some of theirs also. If you are in the Atlanta-metro area and want to have this done then email me at Dewain@Dewain.com .

Here is the link to see what I have done and the new headlights.

The only pictures that show up are the thumbnails. When you click on them, you get a nice red X of where the larger picture should be.

Looks great, but if you do the front you gotta do the back to give it the complete look.

Please share details in how you went about doing this, especially the paints you used and how you applied them.

Rick,

I have fixed the problem you reported. I had the links screwed up. You should be able to look at them now. Thanks.

WRS2K,

I followed the directions listed on the FAQ area on this site to take them appart and then went to a local body shop that was painting a friend's spoiler to have the internal black piece painted. Nothing special about the paint. Once you get the headlights apart (not very easy) you just remove all the screws and carefully pull the black assembly out. If you have any additional questions let me know. I am looking into doing the rear lights, however that is much more complicated and will require some thought as to how to do it safely. Thanks for the feedback.

I think it looks great...! Works well on silver car...not sure how it would work on other colors...not good on a red car, I wouldn't think.

Nice job!
