Painting headlights?

IMO, you should not paint over the chrome rings on the inserts. Mask them off properly when you paint. I also recommend resealing the lenses with flowable silicone to prevent leaks.

i think they look horrible. you want some contrast in the headlights and tailights and the black housing is perfect for it.

everyone has their own opinion, i think it looks good myself, change of pace, however, i dont think i could do that to mine, i like the black, but everyone has different taste looks good though

Johnny--2K thats exactly what i wanted to see!

Thanks guys for the pics! Personally i've only done this on a silver car, so i agree with spaceman and munckee that it would probably look cheap on white,red,yellow. But you gotta admit that johnny's silver looks kinda hot.

Oh yeah, and I'm definitely gonna keep the chrome.

oh yeah, here's my before after of my '03 Tiburon (i loved that car!) but i love my s2k more! :-D
