That sounds about right to me -- think of all the labor that goes into doing a good job:
  • Removing all of the surrounding rubber moldings
  • Masking off the entire car to prevent overspray
  • A few layers of paint
  • Clearcoat
  • Bake to taste (?) (not sure about this one)
  • Occupies space on the paint shop's lot for a couple of days while the paint cures
$150 sounds like a bargain...

I hope it wasn't Macco...

$150 sounds about right for that type of labor involved.

$150 sounds WAY TOO CHEAP to me. it's not a simple job, unless they are just gonna mask off the rubber instead of removing it. how are do they plan on painting the A pillar where it meets the fender and door?

I wouldn't paint it. I would just get some matching vinyl in the color you want to match.

I agree, the S2k looks better with the tape... $150 sounds about right for that job... it's more labor than anything...

I think another member said he paid around $200 to have his window frame repainted, so $150 sounds about right.
