Hey Sunchild,

That's great news. Glad that the garage is finally starting to cooperate. Maybe they surf this board too.

Wow man that tough. I never take my S to the city. I use my beater instead. I'm scared shitless of those parking garages. Hope everything works out well. I heard that a tech named Charles Ryder is the man to see for the S2000 at Honda City. Also the sales manager, Joe C, is an S2000 enthusiast, he has a silver one. See if maybe he can help you out.
Good Luck

I feel your pain. I used to park my land cruiser on the street in midtown all the time and never had a single problem (nice big metal bumpers helped). But occasionally I'd park in garages and they would often steal stuff (change, CD's, even a box of granola bars!). One time they shorted the electrical system - I think they were using it to jump another car.

NYC Garage attendants are the lowest form of life.

OD.

Several years ago my dad had a 240Z stolen in Mass. and it wound up totally submerged in a saltwater tidal pond. It was recovered, totaled, and my father bought it back for next to nothing. He spent the winter cleaning/drying out the interior as well as reconditioning the drivetrain, brakes, etc.

He ultimately sold the restored car to someone who was aware of its history and who drove the car over 100,000 additional trouble-free miles. Getting your baby back to its pre-soak condition might be difficult, but not impossible. Good luck!
