Default Passenger reactions!

Who gets a kick out of seeing your passenger grab hold of the door handle when you VTEC it? Also anybody notice how people who usually don't wear their seatbelts.....put it on quickly when they get in!

My passenger (dad) freaked out when I came up to a corner fast, and braked hard. He didn't think the car would hold the road that good. All he could say after was "damn this car can corner". My car does not move without everyone seatbelted in.

A friend begged to be taken for a ride in my S2k, then begged to be let out after a few blocks. This in the city, where I wasn't able to get into VTEC except in 2nd gear (and yes, he did grab the armrest).

On the other hand, a lady friend loved it. Top down, hair blowing free, zipping around the freeway and through a short tunnel (muffler sounded great there). I wouldn't have expected her to enjoy it so much.

for those passengers that don't know how I drive very well, I always tell them, if you don't tell me otherwise, you'll get intimate with that little handle on the door over there. =)

When coming out of a tool booth, one friend grabbed the handle and said "Oh s***! Does this thing have a V8?"

Other than that, they're all used to the way I drive.

I have a rule when the G/F's in the car...

No VTEC unless ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY

she freaks out when I nail it. I gave up trying to get her to understand. She hates roller coasters and heights, too...

In my town the Toyota and Honda dealships are side by side. My S2K was just coming off some standard maintenance when I notice this guy checking it out. He starts asking questions and tells me he just test drove the Spyder. I told him to hop in and experience some Honda engineering. I VTEC'd out of the dealership and needless to say the guy was in awe. Something to the effect of "the Spyder sucks compared to this..."

If the Honda salesman didn't make a sale that day he needs to find a new career.
