Peeling paint strikes again...
I was checking for this today on my car, and I have the problem in TWO different spots! The first spot is right next to the passenger headlight, which will require repainting of the front bumper. The second spot is also on the passenger side, but is by the taillights...that means I'll have to have both bumpers repainted, which pisses me off!
I'm going to wait a little longer to see just how bad it gets, but at the same time, I don't want to get a repaint only to see it happen again in the future. I hope Honda is listening here, and redesigns the bumper or does something to fix the problem instead of putting a band-aid on it by repainting!

Seems like an on-going issue, I believe it's definitely in relation to the HID heat discharge for the front. But the rear, that's definitely something wrong. Notchy paint work I believe, absolutely disappointing. Honda can do much better for all models when it comes to this. Though it is rare to find Honda having paint peeling issues generally.
I now have a "paint peeling" problem also. Check out the pic below. As you can see, there is not enough clearance between the sharp radius of the headlight and the bumper:

I will be asking Honda for the "updated" bumper design that I have seen on later 2001 S2000's.
Hope the can match the paint
