I ordered 4 Hoosier AutoX model A3S03 tires from tirerack.com on Sept 24th. I ordered 2 225/50x16 and 2 245/45x16. Well I got the fronts two weeks ago and today, for the second time, received the wrong back tires. For some bloody reason they keep sending me road race tires (R3S03) and not autocross tires (A3S03). So today I sent back the first screw up and refused the second. Too bad I've got an autocross on Saturday, the second one I'll be running on streets since I ordered these damn things a month ago.
For this I cannot figure out. Not only does the label clearly say R3S03 but it's printed on the tread as well in big white letters.
Kinda makes you want to go hmmmmmmm.

Tire Rack screwed up the hub adapters that came with the SSR wheels that I ordered from them.
The hub adapters are two different sizes, with the larger inside diameter adapter for the front. They put the larger adapter on the rear wheels and those just happened to be the ones that I installed first. Of course, they fit fine.
So when I went to install the front wheels, they wouldn't fit. I looked on the packing slip and found out that there were two different sizes. I had to remove the rear wheels, swap the hub adapters, re-install the rears and then install the fronts. The job ended up taking twice as long for what should have been an easy 30-45 minute job.
I called to complain and they sent me a free set of Gorilla wheels locks in compensation.
