how many miles you drive each day averagely?

I am a daily driver for 4 months of the year, each day I drove for 20 miles to 30 miles averagely.

I make a mistaken when making the poll.

it will be better if is
less than 10 miles per day
about 10-30 miles per day,
about 30-50 miles per day,
about 50-70 miles per day,
more than 100 miles per day

Sorry, but i dont know how to change it...

including the couple of long trips i have taken in the s i put 9600 miles on it in 1 year. so that is 26.3 miles per day. many of those days it just sat in the garage.

I use the car everyday to get to work - however I'm lucky enough to live only about 5 miles away
In approx. 16 months, I've clocked up 8300 miles - thats an average of about 17 miles / day.

Well lets see... 27,000 miles in 1 year ... I guess that's like 70 miles/day =) (however 8,000 miles are long road trips at 500-700 miles/day, so it's really closer to 50 miles/day (which is what I voted on)

what a bogus set of choices. Even the ''corrected" version is silly. I do about 86 miles a day. Is that "about 70" or "more than a hundred"? I took "about 70", but that is really wrong. It should have been < 10 <30 <50 <70 <90 >90.

don't leave holes, silly!

Geez. . .is that necessary? It's not like the guy works for s2ki.com making polls and stuff. . .

At any rate, I drive my '02 about 30 miles a day, but the average should only take me about 15! Obviously you can see that I like taking the long way! Also, if you ask some folks **cough** VA S2K**cough**, they would tell you that's a bunch of fluffy whip! I traded my '00 for the '02 in October and already have 8500 miles!

Wonder when the '03's will be out?

it takes me 5 minutes to get to work, going mostly 45-50 MPH. So often i just drive to pointless places just to turn around and go home. That's how i log my miles.

Here's an interesting question though, are your miles freeway miles or mostly short erands like mine when i go back and forth between work, bank, get lunch, home...etc.

I've had mine for almost exactly 18 months and have managed to put 45k miles on my car. That averages to 82.191780821917808219178082191781 miles per day of ownership. Unfortunately, my car has also been in the shop for about 2.5 months during the first year I owned it for miscellaneous TSB's and cylinder 1-4 misfires. I should have had about 50k miles without the unscheduled shop time....

My daily commute is about 35 each way. I usually take a spirited drive around Houston during my lunch hour to "free my mind". I probably add another 100 miles per week with my extra-cirricular activities.

Weekends are comprised of the recurring Houstook Saturday Night Flights that can easily add another 100+ miles to the odo.

Hmm. I need another S2k to share the weekly driving chores.
