How many days until blackbear is posting an "I wrecked my S2000" thread...

I've been around for a few years and this has all the hallmark signs that it will likely end badly.

thats exactly why he was asking for advice on what he should do..

What kind of driving classes should I take this summer? Should I go auto crossing or something? I want to learn how to control my car as well as I can before I put any more power in it frown.gif .
some of you guys jump to bashing as quick as you can..
if he is asking for advice on how to fix his problem (in this case auto-x or performance driving school) then why are you gonna jump on him for the mistakes, be happy he is one of the few shitty drivers out there that atleast want to improve his skills (whatever little he may have).

damn.

Yes, that's good that he wants to learn to drive better.

My socks matched today. Do I get a gold star, too?

IMHO, which is only my opinion, people who still make excuses to transfer responsibility stunt their growth and development.

Instead of wondering why people are yelling at him, he calls them idiots.

It's just my opinion. I'm happy he's going to autocross. I'd be happier if he took more personal responsibility for his actions and how they impact others.

Eh after that happened I have been taking the roads more slowly and just cruising comfortably. It really did change my outlook on how I am driving and I want to get as good as I can.
My older brother also spun out in his Nissan 300zx twin turbo because he wasn't used to that much power, but he did it at like 3 AM.

In Greece it's pretty funny, when you have a sports car and accelerate quickly, or drive aggressively, you get old people (i'm not a kid, I'm 32) giving you hand signals that they think you should slow down, I always give them the thumbs up and VTEEEEEEEC. Silly old buggers.

Simply put it sounds like the OP is an immature ricer who will wreck his car very soon.

OP - Grow up, slow down, learn about your car and try to improve your skills in a safe (read: NOT public roads regardless of time of day) enviroment.

/soapbox.

So by your definition, you car is insanely riced seeing as how you have a wing on yours because you are implying stock s2ks are riced out.
Before this I drove a 1988 Honda Accord my parents got me. After a few years I was able to get a Honda s2k. So yeah I am not that used to driving more powerful RWD cars.

Next time before you call s2k drivers ricers, think about the fact you are talking about your own car

In your case you're not a ricer because of the car you drive - you're a ricer because you drive like and idiot - the only thing that really sets you apart from most other morons on the road is you drive a fairly capable car that will land you in trouble.

Have you even read half the stuff you've posted? Spinning out, loosing the rear end repeatedly, etc... you think this is ok?

You haven't been here long but you've already made yourself a part of the reason a lot of seasoned members leave S2Ki/the S2000 and why the forums have gone downhill. Thanks to depreciation the S2000 is attainable for almost anyone, and not to say its some supercar, we'll just say that not everyone that can afford one needs to be behind the wheel of one.
