Default Perfect stock??

I've been planing on buyin my S for a while now.. but I have one lil beef, I feel like theres not that much I can do with it, engine and suspenion wise. Its PERFECT!!!

I come from the world of 1.8L B18 powered Integra's where engine mods are, stroker kits, turbo's, SC, Cams, intake manfolds, raiseing compression and rev limits. as I said the only thing I realy see guys doing is either SC or keeping there car stock minus Mugen ecu or VFAC.

Dont get me wrong this is my dream car but half the fun of owning my TEG is the process of building it.

there are still plenty of things you can do to modify the car. VAFC, Supercharger or turbo, coil overs or separate spring/shocks, x brace, exhaust, performace thermostat, roll cage... and many others. you are looking for a project car? an S2000 can be a great project car, and the end result will be pretty amazing if you do it right. I advise you start by looking at DavePK's street car that is so damned track-ready and go from there.

have fun!

I figured suspenion tunign would be the most fun, already have my heard set on Mugen MF10's and spoon or JIC stuff.

How much is needed for a downpayment if I'm gonna make payments?? I wanted to pay for it all at once but I dont think I can wait.. I can have like 7 or 8 grand real soon.

You might be able to add lots of mods....but it seems that you really cant squeeze out that much more HP out of the engine since Honda did such a great job. Am I wrong?
