Rick has managed to outspend the bean counters at Honda.
Don't give Honda too much respect.

I love the way tinted wind screen looks though. This is a must have for me.

What's really remarkable is that Rick has outdone Honda three times now. (Windscreen, console cover, boot). Besting Honda once is quite an achievement. At least Honda can take comfort from the fact that Rick's efforts make their car even better.

I look forward to Rick's future efforts.

And not one is yet to be in the category of "RICE"

Thanks for the votes of confidence. We should wait for a few days until Sam_S2K gets his car back from the shop and can give his final opinions based on his driving experience with the tinted screen. And please remember my previous cautions about needing permission from Honda to use the logo.

Rick, while you are at the glass shop, can you build me a glass rear window??

It seems like it would not be that hard. Two pieces of glass joined with some transparent hinge (okay that part may be hard) and glued to some fabric that zips into the place for the existing window.

There appears to be enough canvas around the current window that it would still fold up okay. Defrost would be a challenge, but I can live without it... I'm sure there is a coating that can be applied to prevent/reduce fogging.

I would definately buy the glass rear window if Rick decides to make one.. thats alot of peoples main complaint is the crappy miata like plastic rear window. I think that would be a definate big seller.

I'll get this sweet looking tinted aero screen as well. That is if the stock one that should come with my silver/red in may doesn't do the job. (i'm not sure what complaints there are on the stock one, i'd like to hear).

And Rick I haven't seen your custom designed boot.. know where I could find any pics?
