time for change, just changed my with a K&N drop in filter, wandering if you guys would get OEM or K&N drop in?

I've always been a great fan of K&N filters. However, when you use this sort of filter, you have to be dilegent about cleaning it when needed and you must accept the fact that it won't filter as well. "More flow, more performance, but less filtering, less protection." It is up to the owner to then also be dilegent about oil and oil filter changes. Any foreign materials that get past an air filter will tend to result in dirtier oil, sooner. If you don't have a firm commitment to proper oil change intervals, you would be best to keep with the stock paper filter.

thanks, good point, oil/filter should be changed little early since K&N won't filter out as much dirt as OEM.
