Sweet - easy on the gas until you have a few miles under your belt. I was 53 when I bought my 05.

Congrats! If it's really 3K miles, wow. If it's in brand-new condition, $21K isn't bad.

I'd change all fluids as it'll probably need it (brake/clutch, transmission, differential, oil). Coolant can probably wait as it has a 10 year interval.

Make sure wherever you take it uses the right fluid for the differential...ESPECIALLY a Honda dealer. In fact, if you take it to the dealer for that work, bring 1 quart of Mobil1 75W-90 LS fluid with you (Autozone has it), as they probably won't have the correct fluid as Honda doesn't sell it. The VTM-4 fluid that they use for Pilots/CRVs will kill your rear differential FAST, and chances are high that's what they will try to sell you.

These cars are really very reliable when maintained, so I wouldn't worry. These cars are made to rev high, so do that daily (after changing fluids)

It's a HUGE step up from a Paseo!

Very well done. I know that value. I am selling my 04 with OEM Hardtop and 6.600 verified miles for $22,600

Thanks for update.

+1 on changing the fluids. I did the brakes (Valvoline Synthetic from AutoZone...too impatient to wait for Super Blue mailorder) this weekend without any prior knowledge...just watched some FAQ videos on how to gravity bleed. Super easy and well worth the time. Then I bled the classic Mustang and CBR600F4i just for fun.

Also did the differential (Mobil 1) and transmission (Amsoil) when I bought my S2000 2 years ago...even easier. Only the clutch left to go!

congrats! I love my 04. It only has 3k miles, I think your good. I bought my 04 with 40k miles, and boy when I changed the transmission fluid, the thing shifted much much smoother (second gear didn't pop out anymore), and I did the air filter change/diff and oil. She runs very smooth now. The hard part will be where to park it so no one dings it =)
