picked up 05 s2k
Hello, Just picked up my new silverstone 05, received the car with 6 miles on it.
The stealer installed front lip, rear wing and headrest speakers for me. The rear wing was not tightened down properly if at all, the trunk was out of alignment and the common passenger side rear bumper defect was present. after the stealer corrected two of the problems they blew me off about the rear bumper problem. I hope down the road that honda addresses these defectson the rear bumper. Well, I thank all for the great info and knowledge on this site, except for the people who
claim you can drive with the top down in the rain. On my way home from the dealer I was enjoying the top down and singing to the tunes when I drove into a local rain squall, well I just kept going thinking I was O.K. , what a mistake. I ended up on the side of the road trying fast and furiously to get my top up. To no avail I ended up getting the interior soaked with less than 50 miles on it. I would just like to warn others not to do the same. I love the car and have been waiting
for 4 years to get one, all I can say is I'm sorry I waited so long. I kept thinking I would get a 06 the last year, well I'm so glad I didnt wait. If anyone is on the fence ,go for it. My question is that with the headrest speakers should the tweeters in the doors still work, because mine have no sounds coming out, but the headrest speakers do sound good, and I'm happy with the stock system as far as sound and
volume. If anyone else who has headrest speakers could get back to me so I will know if the stealer messed up, since no sound is coming out of these door tweeters as of now. Thanks, Happy v-tecing

Congrats Fast! You mentioned local squalls...live in So. FL, by chance? Hey, when you get a chance try and post some pics of your new family member showing off the headrest speakers. I've been on the fence about them for a few weeks. Again, kudos on your new toy.
