Default Picked up my 05 last night!

Picked up my 05 Silverstone with the two toned interior last night!!!

Props to Honda world of Westminster for cutting me a good deal and not screwing around. I recommend anyone who wants a honda in the LA area to go down there and talk to Mat Piercey.

I got more for my Z on trade than I would have here in San Diego and got the S for a good grand less that I could down here.

Now I just have to make it through break in. Can't wait to

The Nissan Shift_over to S2K is now complete. Wonder if I should now change my name.

I love that colour with the 2-toned interior. I can't wait to get mine in the spring.

Post some pictures when you get the chance.

Shift_S2k, welcome and congrats on your purchase. The 350Z is a nice car, what were your reasons for switching?

Thanks everyone!

S2k Dude, my reasons for switching can be found here: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=240290
Look about three quarters of the way down the page.

Yeah, the two tone is nice I wasn't sure about it but when I saw it I knew it would be right for me. The red is not poping red, it's a slightly grayish red and doesn't jump at you the way I was scared it would.

I'll post pics when I get a chance to take some. All work no play, you know how the story goes.

Future plans... Wheels for sure. After owning Superleggera III's I now know that I'll never buy rims that nice again. To much of a headache, always scared of scratching them... made me way too paranoid. They looked phenomenal but it's just not worth it. They're wheels, you roll on them they're gonna get damaged wether it's your own fault or pebbles or the dealer running the car through their shitty car wash...
I think it's worth getting a performance rim but a grand a corner is just stupid unless it's a show car.
That said, I'm thinking SSR Comp's, Velox PG-R5's, Ro_ja F5's (one piece) or superleggera's again but the one peice this time.
I'll probably get the factory front skirt and maybe the sides (not sure yet) and I like the back the way it is.
Header's and exhaust for sure, might bite the bullet and go with Amuse. I really like the Veilside single Ti but that would require a different rear end.
I usually prefer NA but comptech is just calling my name what with it not voiding the Honda warranty and all.
I like the idea of gears as I'm not a top end kind of guy but I'm worried what it would do to my fuel efficiency on long trips like SD to vegas. Anyone know at what speed Vtec kicks in in 6th gear with the new gears?

That's about as much thought as I've put in for now. Oh yeah, and I may remove the softtop and it's motor to save weight since it never rains here. If I do that I'll probably pull out the AC as well.
