Just wanted to introduce myself as a new owner of a MY00 with 14k miles. I picked it up yesterday and been smiling ever since. I'll be lurking around this board more frequently now. Thanks for all the great info.

 

how much did you pay for it? private seller or dealer?

Thanks, sticker on the car was $23,995 at a local Honda Dealer. I got it for like $21,500 and got a surprisingly decent amount for my trade. All in all I was pleased and I love this car.

 

Happy for your purchase. I have a silverstone MY00 as well. Got her about 2 months ago from a private party. Had 12,500 on the clock and was the queen trapped in a garage. I rescued her for $23,000 and she has been happy running around town daily ever since. I'll let you know everyone here is an enthusiast but now you can take the next step and you can have the distinction of being an owner. Congrats and happy driving.

I have a MY00 Silverstone as well, had mine over 3 years though.. we will never part

 

I picked up my '01 Silverstone almost 2 months ago, 17k miles....got it for $22000 (I work for a dealership, got it for bottom of wholesale when traded in.)

Been happy ever since!

thanks guys. my boss actually got me a connection at the dealership i bought the car at, so they hooked me up with a deal i couldnt pass on. i had a 2000 civic si that was stolen and stripped, then picked up a sentra spec v, but in the end had to come back to honda after one test drive of the s2k. wow

 

14K miles on a MY00 is fantastic. Great find. After nearly 4 years, mine has 55K. But, like mindcore, they'll have to pry it from my cold, dead fingers...
