If anything is "upgraded" on the car (ie: wheels, intake, exhaust) I would make sure that the original equipment comes with it also. I hate that mine didn't come with the stock wheels!

10 VIN stickers (one on each body panel). If any are missing, take a very, very careful look at the car and be willing to walk away if something doesn't look right.

thanks. i'm picking up tomorrow am. btw here's the car http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_...lor=&cardist=85

i saw one small scratch that can be buffed out. the seat looks like it was never sat in. (the soft leather didn't stretch) checked it out from a cold start, perfect. i will check the for the 10 vins but body seams are aligned no uneven gaps. carfax clear. the story is- the guys wife got pregnant and he traded.

the dealer is making sure of all the items above come with car.

i got it for 24k. in service 5/03 so warranty until 5/06. i think it's a decent deal- don't you?

sigh.....it's all relative i suppose....

just came from my bank with my deposit for car. it's next to a ferrari dealership. so there's a red modena vert and a (dare i say) suzuka blue 360 coupe parked infront. almost dampned my excitement of my anticipated ownership.

just thought i'd share with the rest of you motorheads.

...mebby mebby one day if i keep plugging away.........

Make sure they didn't swap the tires for some cheapo's. S02's are expensive.

You mentioned spare, jack, etc. Make sure the etc. includes the tool kit.

original s02s....yeah i was looking at tires in particular to gauge how car was used.

those are some seriously fat tires. section of the back looks like a 245.
