I've opted to chose Spoon's complete throttle body assembly instead of taking the ProFlow's way.
I wanted a hassle free installation and plus I wanted to keep my stock part. Anyway if you wanted to do Spoon's, for overseas customer buying the complete assembly is the only way.
Got it from MG Racing and the quote now is $675 including shipping to US. I had no idea the stock throttle body is priced $400+, So I am thinking the Spoon complete assembly price is very reasonable.
It comes with a new gasket for even more hassle free installation.
The installation was just too easy, around 5 minute.
I was manage to grab some quick pictures but my mechanic did it so quick that when I blinked my eyes, swapping of the parts was complete.

Picture to make sure I got the Spoon's

Shiny barrel, but not as nearly as nice as ProFlow's though.

Stock TB ready to come out

Spoon TB installed, done too quick to take in- between installation pictures.

I didn't see any problem after the install, the car started normal and idled normal and ran without any abnormal behavior except stronger and faster.
Two days of hard and fun driving proved that Spoon Throttle body gave me noticeable improvement and I am as happy as I can be.
Spoon's claim is about 6HP increase and it feels just about right. 6hp sounds like very minimum but the improvement like I said is noticeable. Low to Mid end push is where the difference was felt.
I wanted to give more thorough testing but unfortunately it has been halted because I have major problem with tranny at this moment(no not the kind that everyoneelse is experiencing). So my car is temporarily out of commission at the moment to give you guys more complete driving report.
If you are in a tight budget then go with the ProFlow and better yet do the exchange program to save you even further but if you like to keep your part and want hassle free complete assembly then go with Spoon's
Either Proflows or Spoon's way doing the throttle body is highly recommended if you are going to start modding.
It certainly made a believer out of me...

If you want the Spoon's, contact Mr. Giampiero at MG Racing.

Nice pics and looks like it is quite a quality piece. The bar across the butterfly looks nicely lower profiled. I wonder if the ProFLow is similar? I'll have to look at some pictures of the ProFlow.

Randy,

tried calling you today but no luck. The $ is available. I wanted to know if you still are using your spoon final gearing . I was going to go for that part and wanted your thoughts.

I asked about this in a similar topic, and I've been answered here. Thanks.

What I wanna know is thats the size of the butterfly of the P-flow compared to the Spoon TB.

Is the Spoon TB straight through or is it tapered like the P-flow one is.

AaronS2K, I have aftermarket secondary gears in the tranny. ATS final gears to be exact.
Something is not right because of loud tranny noise recently(very scary and soon it will seize to operate I guess), I can speculate all night long but until we disassemble the tranny I wouldn't know exactly.
But if you want an update on this I will gladly provide you with my report tomorrow.
