how long are you going to be in recovery/hospital, or are you already out?
I was in the hospital for 27 hours when they deemed I was fit to go home. I've been home for a day now and I still feel ok for the most part. When I wake up my eye is swollen and it's hard for me to open wide, but as the day progresses it gets better. I get the sutures removed next Wednesday. I'm also on pain meds for when my back muscles start to get sore.

damn bro, looking at the choppers sky view you can see the marks on the dirt before the canal and on the street that you were coming sideways...uninterrupted marks show the cars was not flipping. Looking at the pictures, you hit the main hit with the left side of the car, tire/rim damage shows you entered the canal facing backwards...car probably flipped as it went down/in.

All in all, good thing you're OK. Get well soon.

That's brutal. I'm glad you're making progress. There are plenty of stories about people surviving serious accidents in these cars. As everyone says, it sucks, but in the end it's just a car. Best of luck!
