I've done the Integra pillar pod thing. It actually looks pretty good. The only problem is that the gauges are a few degrees off.(they are angled about 1-2 degrees up) But if you are tall, they would be perfect. It doesn't take much to get the Integra pod to fit.

OK. I matched up one of the Integra pods, and me thinks that is a no go. The faces would be pointing up too far to look "right."

I've set up a meeting with the guys who say they can fab a pod custom to order. They have the ability to make a mold. I'll see what kind of deal can be worked out. The meeting is on Wednesday afternoon. If you have interest in joining on the buy, let me know. I'll keep posting info to this thread.

It would be interesting to see if a modified pod could be made as a radar detector mount. I used to always mount the detector in the upper left corner of the windshield. It's much less visible from the outside there.

Well good news and bad news. Yes it can be done, but the pricing just isn't reasonable since each piece will have to be hand-made.

We need to contact a company that can create molds for vinyl panels and have them fab a product. Unfortunately, this will be pretty pricey for the first few takers. Does any one have thoughts at this point? What we really need is somebody to drive to Autometer with their car and demand product!
