C3, I'm sorry you're bummed by the inconsiderate comments in some threads. Really, 99% of the posts here are civil and most are helpful.
From my observations, even the "flames" have been more in the line of "heated discussions over technical disagreements" than just plain tastelessness.

I thought allot of it was amuzing to a certain extent. I could just picture these people swearing as they banged out responses on their keyboards - but you are right in that it continues to build until becoming vicious and personal - and is no longer even about the cars.

I didn't think anything was worth such strict measures, but apparently everyone agrees, so...
It reminds me the 9000REVS saga on the other board, everyone was so mad at him, and yet I just couldn't understand why, I simply enjoyed seing idiots over-reacting to his harmless comments. It seems like people are really afraid of tensions on those internet forums... then let's go back to the usual stuff :

"yellow rules"
"red red red red"
"LOL"
"silver/red at Taco Bell in W.palm Beach on sat, is that you?"
"just beat a dodge neon on PCH"
