When I took delivery of MY 04 S2k noticed that the inner fender well had pieces missing in 2 places where the trim screws hold it in place. Took it to the dealer and changed it out under warranty. No problem. Said They had had a few of these happen on some other Honda models. Never saw this happen on an S, but they dont see many S2k's anyway. Washed my car 2nite and ran my sponge in the inner fender and 2 chuncks crack off in the same place! Anyone else experiencing this?

Dut did you take out your liners? My right side is cracking due to rubbing. I was just going to remove them completely.

I have the same problem on mine too. Crack on both front inner wells. I had the car for almost 5 months now. I don't think it's a big deal though. I will have to wait and see...

 

I was looking at an 04 yesterday and the two aft screws on the right side had triangle shaped pieces missing and was cracked. The owner is about to take it back for replacement.

 

mine has done the same thing - thought it might have been cause by the accisent

i'll be calling my dealer soon

 

Does anyone have a picture of this? I'm going to inspect mine here shortly.
