plastic window
You have to prevent wear and clean it properly.
Make sure the plastic area that the window folds into is clean. Even dust can be abrasive enough to scratch it. Also use a good polish on it. I have even heard of a plastic layer you can add to it (think clear tint). Another product keeps the window from rubbing against itself. Do a search.
Mine looks like crap, banking on a transplant later down the road.

I replace mine or currently at this present moment it being replace. The plastic window is one whole piece and cost about 850 without tax. The labor was 300-350 at where I got it. I have to haggle with the guy to do it. Honda recommend me to this place since this is where they would send it if they have to do one under warranty.
