Default Plastic Window Covered by Insurance?

I was wondering if anyone who had their rear plastic window cracked in the cold get covered by their insurance company.

I have comprehensive coverage with AAA and I know they cover all glass damage claims for every window, but the window is plastic. Haven't had time to call yet. Curious as to other people's experience.

I suppose it would be covered if it is due to weather vs. due to age however your deductible may be more than the window anyway.

thats why you need comprehensive + full glass w/ no deductible

I'd be interest to know if plastic window would be covered as well.
