Having really hard time picking. I am leaning more toward black metal one. Fellow S2K owners please help.

Of the two, I would go with the metal one. Personally, I have a blue tinted plastic cover. I've never been a big fan of the frames.

Unless your initials are "HKS," I'd vote for neither.

Personally, I think it's cheesy to advertise an exhaust on your license plate. What's the point? People will hear that you have an aftermarket exhaust from far away anyway. And not like anyone will be more impressed by one brand of exhaust than another unless you're getting a crazy Ti single. And even then, it doesn't do much for performance... You're better off slapping VTEC stickers all over your car. I heard those are worth at least 10whp each...

Griots Garage has a very nice selection of plain high quality frames.

I agree with Ckit, why get those plate holders unless you do have something to present. If that is the case though, I would go for the metal ones....
Or you can get something like this. I have it and it's not as tacky really. Just gives it a little more appeal. The ones I got came with the Honda "H" caps that go over the bolts as well. I have the S2000 emblems shaved so it is not overkill with representing the S.

How do you guys get the frames on there with the little tabs on the bottom that the plate sits in? I don't see how it sits flat, or doesn't it?

It just rests on those tabs. Most frames are now illegal in NC so, no frames for me.

I can't remember if I even have a license plate frame. I know I don't on the front.

I have one that came on my wifes Acura that says "I'd rather be shopping at Nordstroms" if you are looking for something like that.
