I am going to the doctor specifically because I get pollen allergies real bad in the spring. Last year with the MR2 T-Tops I suffered, and regular medicine had awful side effects so I didn't do it.

Please tell me if you have to take allergy medicine to make it through the convertible season, and what seems to work good for you.

Yep, I suffer from hay fever and I asked that questions already in this previous thread.

I'm talking prescription medicine. No helmets or gas masks. Thanks

I took shots two to three times a week for two years. Now, I rarely have an attack or any allergies. Testing for the shots was hell though. The doctor pricked my back four hundred times over a couple days, but I had pretty bad allergies when I lived in Santa Barbara. No freeze, so something is blooming all year round. Phoenix is the same way, but so far so good. (fingers crossed).

Oh, and the shots were over ten years ago now. They build up your immunity by giving you what you are allergic to in small doses.

steroid nasal spray with or without oral antihistamines should do a great job relieving your symptoms. very few people develop side effects from steroid nasal spray and non-sedating oral antihistamines. check with your doctor.
