right next to your seat...there's a little knob thingie that you pull and it'll pop your fuel tank door

so open the door... look to your left and it's in the door jam area... it's a tiny little black knob..

THANKS!!! It worked!!! You guys are the best!!! Hopefully, he will laugh about this someday! His gas tanks on empty and has been stuck at a gas station an hour from home, since about 2:00 am!!! He decided to sleep and come up with a solution in the morning. Anyway, the dealer is closed, AAA didn't have a clue where the release is located and he was really stuck! I tried all kinds of internet searches trying to find out where this release is located, all to no avail. Thanks to all of you for your input...he's fillin' up and on his way!

For my first fill up, I could not figure it out either. Thank God the previous owner kept the owner's manual. I probably looked like a fool sitting there for 10 minutes reading through the manual. Had that manual not been in there....who knows.....

Ahhh...... Memories. I remember my first fill up. Stopped at a gas station, looked for the release a good 5 minutes (no owners manual). Said "screw it", drove home to look for it in my garage so I didn't look dumb at the pumps. Drove back to the gas station. 30 minutes of my life I will never forget. LOL
