Hey guys please help me out here if you could...

car is making a knocking type of noise from the suspension.

it only happens when the car starts to move from the complete stop.

I am thinking I might have a loose strut or blown factory shocks...

I live in LA and we got some bad roads with many pud holes and stuff..

any other inputs

are greatly appreciated.

BTW, my car is 06 with 11k miles.

Could be ball joints. Is it in the rear? If so, push on the trunk and see if it squeaks.

does it only happen when you start to drive the car for the first time in the day or always at a stop? if it only happens when you first start from the day it maybe that your ebrake locked into the rotor. do you put your ebrake on when you park the car?

Most likely it is the axle spindles that need to be retorqued - its a common occurance in S2000s. It kind of a cracking or popping when you are at low speeds or turning left or right?

Yes, so far I've had my right axle retorqued under a standing TSB - free.

Its okay for a few days - right now it is not dangerous, but if you don't fix it, it will ruin the spindle over time. It seems pretty common, when it first happened to my car and I searched S2ki, I got a bunch of related threads.
