Since you don't want to wear your seatbelt anyway, get a razor blade, and cut the seatbelt. Take the latching part that will be freed after the belt goes zipping into it's retractor and push it into the buckle. No more light. No more buzzing.

Damn people chill. Sometimes I dont want to wear the god damn seat belt. I know of the apparent risks involved with not wearing one. I always try to wear it but sometimes I wear a leather jacket or something big like that and the belt bothers. Thanks for all the smart ass comments.

Av8ing1

Thanks for the help I will try that.

Just to add another twist, I would never drive w/o the seat belt just as I would never ride my motorcycle w/o a helmet. But I like to slide in to the seat in my S-2000, turn on the key, depress the clutch and hit the start button. Then while the engine warms slightly I put on the belt. It would be nice to not to have to listen to the warning siren while I buckle the belt. Not a big deal but one of life's small annoyances.

Everyone needs to lay off the man... if he dont want to wear his seat belt how is it effecting you? I'm not a big fan of wearing them either so i can see where he's coming from. Besides i dont see anywhere in his post that says.. "I dont wear my seat belt.. flame me."

I personally disconnected the seat belt connector right underneath the seat as well (as Av8ing1 said) and hated the annoying beeping sound it made.

I always wear my seat belt and I agree on wearing a helmet on a bike is just like wearing your seat belt in your S. However, there are times where I would be driving around a parking lot for 10 - 15 looking for a parking spot. That's when I would unlatch my seat belt to loosen up.

S is actually not that bad, my friend had a rental Jetta. It beeps even in PARK, standing still. So I pluged the back seat belt into his latch to get it to shut the F up.

I really don't care if you wear a seatbelt or not, but doesn't it feel awkward NOT wearing a seatbelt?

I feel like the seatbelt holds me in the seat pretty well, and I feel "naked" without being strapped in.
