Default Please help buying the s2000 tommorow.

Hey guys, im getting the 2008 s2000 tommorrow. I was wondering what color do you guys think is nicer , the blue with black interior , or the Chicane silver with the red interior. Also they want 2000 down 349.00 a month plus tax for a 36 month lease . What do you guys think about that. Oh and by the way I am new to the forums, and can't wait to be active on it =]

I'm was originally going to get the Laguna Blue S myself but ended up with a Sebring Silver by chance. Mine also has the red interior and I must say, the red on black was what really sold me on it. But hey, this is a little bias

Just go with the color you like the most. And that payment you got sounds pretty good for a brand new S. Thats about what I pay and mine was a used 07 with 7k miles on it.

why lease it, find a nice used S and buy it out right. Plus if you plan on modding the car, leasing is not what you want to do. I paid $17 for a '04 that had 47k on her, payments are about the same.

Get the blue. But don't lease... buy. There are too many out there that can be purchased for $10,000 - $15,000 less that look EXACTLY like what you're about to get.

For some, leasing is better. Most people like to have new cars within a 3 yr period and this is the best route. Once your lease is over, you just drop it off and get yourself a new car to lease again. Leasing as I see it is for the few that wants to have new cars all the time and especially still have warranty on the car while it is still in their possesion. Truthfully, who wouldn't want to have cars under warranty all the time. But like I said, this is for the few people. I myself prefer buying.

you can't mod when you lease. Buy buy buy!
This statement is somewhat true and untrue. You can definitely mod the car even though you lease it as many have done here on the boards. You just have to make sure when you return it after your lease, it is in stock form. One downside is the warranty. Not too sure on the regulations, but for some mods, it can be voided. One way to avoid it I guess is going to your own shop. Just my .02.

your profile says "2008 Chicane/Synchro Silver/Black-Red "

why ask us what color if you've already made a decision?

also, BUY BUY BUY! dont lease its a waste of money

I think leasing can ending saving money if you find a good lease. You're really only paying for the depreciation if the lease is low enough.
