i want to hear a s2k's vtec kick in either on a dyno or from inside the car

i can thear the engagment i thought the s2000's vtec would be loud i cant even tell when it kicks in it just gets louder as the rpms climb. no sudden kick in sound

I can clearly tell at full throttle when vtec kicks in. The car gets much louder right at 6k rpm. Very noticlable. When I took my mom for a ride in it, she said, she could tell when the turbo kicked in...I just chuckled and told her there was no turbo.

 

the ITR has the most obvious vtec engagement sound. the s2k is more refined, but you can definatley FEEL it. you guys should try driving a nsx, the noise isn't really there but the PULL you feel is amazing.

 

My friend just bought an 03 nsx and the pull and feel is awesome. I must say, it's quite a letdown getting in my car after driving his. Not that I don't love my S, just that pull throughout the whole rpm range rocks.

 

i could imagine how much 290 hp feels. the only nsx i've ever driven is a '93 nsx 3.0 5-spd(270 hp).
