le car, my wife and I were in Paris for a week in September last year, just before I came home and picked up my S2000 on 9/22.
I didn't get any sense that we were "worshipped" as Americans, but we absolutely loved Paris! We just had an absolutely fantastic time. I would go back in a heartbeat and I would love to check out more of France. Perhaps it's because we both know a little French, although my wife is practically conversant in French.
I done lots of traveling and been in many, many cities, but Paris was the best!
Silly me, I just noticed your smiley face was a wink, now I understand the quotes around "worship"!
Haha! Like I said, lucky we spoke French, although there was this one little fromage shop where no one spoke English (right!) trying to get some cheese for sandwiches, do the conversion to kilograms and speak French all at the same time. Sign language worked though!

Ah, Fort Worth. Just far enough from Dallas (a nice place to visit) to avoid total gridlock.
"Where the West begins?"
Plus side:not too crowded, many sunny days.
Negatives
ccasional tornadoes (in downtown no less!) and softball sized hailstones.
Happy to find another sandbox since H-A has been a little buggy lately.
