Please talk me out of the S2K!
Hi. I need everyone to please persuade me not to buy an S2000. I love this car and am drawn to it like a moth to the flame. But it's impractical, and for me, expensive, and I really shouldn't be considering a two seat sports car.
I've test driven more practical "sporty" cars like the R32 and the RX8 but they didn't have the excitement of the S. I just want to put the top down in an S2k, bring a bottle of water, and work the shifter while I carve the corners on a local twisting country road.
So please, S2K members, talk me out of the S2000. A metaphor for my situation would be a respectable family man who is drawn to bright lights, strippers, coke and excitement. Please tell the family man he should stay home with Martha and save money for milk and diapers.

This has been going on for a year now. Just bite the bullet...I did and have never regretted it. I also use my S as a daily driver and I'm a traveling salesman. JUST DO IT. Get your wife the family car.

don't buy a car that you won't be able to enjoy because your insurance, maintenance, fuel, etc. costs will bankrupt you.
when you're ready, your S will be waiting.
