Windscreen: Was that you I waved to on Sunday afternoon around 2:30 going northbound on I-94 near the Racine county line? (near the start of the road construction N.bound)
For the Plexus, I'd recommended checking with motorcycle shops.
Also, as the others mentioned, PetsMart.....in the aquarium supplies section.

Close, but nope, wasn't me. I came through about 6 hours later (but the car was on a trailer behind my truck ).

RTS,

I just finished calling nearly every big aquarium & motorcycle shop in Milwaukee. SportLand 2 (414-764-2800), down on the south side near the airport, say they have Plexus for $8. I'm just about to leave and go get a can for myself.

Too bad I didn't call them earlier in the week, as I just got back from having some tires mounted & balanced at a place near Miller Park (Mark Rinderle Tire - did a fantastic, marr and scratch free job).

I agree --- I used Meguiar's #18 at first, but it's nowhere near as good as Plexus.

As much as I think Plexus does a fantastic job, I tried something a little different today. First, I shot Plexus all over the rear window, cleaned it like normal, inside and out. Then I used the 3M Plasic Cleaner, which is a paste/waxy kind of thing, then I followed that up with the 3M Plastic Polish. Now, I NEVER drive with top up, so I can't say how good it looks when driving, but I CAN say that it is like CRYSTAL now! WOW!

Highly recommended...!

Also, i got the idea from someone who off-handedly said to use Plexus on the instrument cluster plastic...I tried it a couple of weeks ago and that works beautifully, as well. Plexus is a great product, I'm trying to remember not to use it JUST on the rear window, I think it has LOTS of uses...good stuff!

Try motorcycle shops, they use it for windshields. That's where I got mine.

PetSmart tells me they no longer carry Plexus. They now say what they carry is good for both glass and plastic. Instead of buying what they have, I've gone to AutoFanatics for the Plexus.

BTW, there was a recent group buy involving AutoFanatics. Maybe there will be another.
