Default plz help with my little S~

i dont know why my 01 s2000 low end is really bad, just feel like no TQ or something, cuz in our group we have like 8 s2000 around and every my friends had test drive my s2000 say the samething...it's losing power from 1000 to 4000 rpm, after that is fine also vtec is good...and i am 2nd owner so dont know if it's like this before..so if someone have same problem like mind or knows the way to fix it plz help thanks.

Get it dyno'd. Maybe that'll tell you what's going on.

this may sound really stupid, im sorry if it does. would a loose throttle cable make his car feel more weak? only bring it up since its a 01 and might not have ever been tightened.

I have an '01 and mine was loose but I didn't feel TOO much of a difference when I tightened it. It's worth a shot though, his could be REALLY loose

do you have a stock air box? if so is the cover on it? could be getting major heat soak.

i have cold air intake so dont think that's the problem man

did you go and check your throttle cable? just to make sure it is tight.
