Default from point A to point B

So, I see this guy washing this beautiful suzuka with a temp tag in my apt complex, so I thought I'd give him a warm welcome by saying "hey nice car!" His response was, "oh its my girlfriend's, I know nothing about cars."

Ever since the S was introduced, this was it. I mean, it took me so many years of hard work and dedication for me to finally have the previlege to own one. To me, it's a symbol of success, my joy and pride of owning a such engineering and master piece that is. Again, to some, it's just another Honda that gets them from point A to point B. Funny how life works...

I just thought i'd share..

Btw, it was an 06 with only 30k on the clock, Honda certified and everything for only $20k. Sure they are affordable nowadays. =)

Well it was a surprise gift for her from him, so I had to tell him what great choice it was! Apparently, his gf is scared to drive it because she's learning how to drive manual.

Maybe they don't have to, but some may never realize how great they have it made, lol. Heck, I still remember my very first test drive of the S way back, and being shocked by how good shifting and vtec unit can be. Ahh good ole' memories.

Manual can be very intimidating at first, I remember stalling in front of an officer when learning. You just gotta drive the car, and believe me with the looks of the S2K...you are going to want to learn quickly so you don't embarass yourself.

I have loved the S2000 since I saw my first one in Fall of 1999. I've had mine since 2006 and plan to keep it for as long as the future wife, mortgage, kids and Obama allow me!

That's interesting...

I see tons of S2000's since I live in south FL, and I'm always wondering whether or not the owners truly appreciate the car or if they just got the car because it's a convertible and a Honda (kind of like you referred to). It's sort of a shame when that's the case!
