Based on input from S2ki.com, the largest S2000 on-line web site, with 441 owners in the sample:

Average Age: 34
Median Age: 30
Youngest Owner: 15
Oldest Owner: 68

A little more on the demographic breakdown of s2ki.com owners:

15-19: 53
20-29: 159
30-39: 85
40-49: 74
50-59: 58
60+: 12

 

What? No break down by color?

 

I think that you'll find that the US average age is lower than other countries eg UK. S2000s are more economically accessible in the US

 

Cars in general are significantly cheaper in the US than Australia. An S2000 in Australia costs $80k AUD ($48k USD).
