But I bet the S2000 sound is much tamer than some of the Ferraris listed above since most of them are single seater racers - talk about wailing sounds...
Last I knew the Smithosian had recordings of '50s Ferraris
Probably the only sound I'd allow to displace the Stones in my CD player

If you want to hear a sweet sounding single-seat Ferrari, click the link and play the sound file.
That's a V10. Now F1 engines are V8s, even if max RPM of most engines went up from 18,000 to 19,000 - strastopheric !!!
The best were the V12s, and the best place (IMHO) to enjoy their wail was at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium, specifically as close as one can get to Eau Rouge. Hard to describe the feeling unless you've been there. Suffice to say that many F1 world champions have said that Eau Rouge is where the men are differentiated from the boys.
Too bad there is no Belgium F1 GP this year. Let's hope it'll be back next year.

I thought the S2000 is just a rich man's Miata?
Ok. J/K. Don't kill me here lol.

Also kidding
I wonder what one would get if an S2000 and a Miata were mated

I realy have to agree! From all the cars I've owned, this is the only car that hits the spot everytime. Compared to all the cars coming out, with all the power but still would not compare to the feeling that I get from mys2k.
I love my car!
