poorer control on hot asphalt?

Is it my imagination, or does the normal slipping the S2000 has on curves is even greater when the asphalt is hot from a blistering summer sun?

There is an optimum temperature, something in the mid-70s ambient temp that provides the best stickiness for tires in general...there may be something about the S-02's that like about the same kind of temp...

When the asphalt get to hot, oils and resins rise to the surface, making it a little more slick, then "DRY" pavement.
