Porsche Techequipment Top Protectant
Hey, I've heard this is a great product for our tops and can be ordered online, but has anyone in the SF Bay Area actually bought it from a Porsche dealer? I'd like to know, because I'd rather buy it there than to wait for it in the mail (unless its more expensive at the Porsche dealer)

i couldn't get it from Sonnen or Carlson (they kept asking which porsche i owned).

I bought the cleaner and the conditioner from http://www.autofanatics.com ... pretty good site and good service as well...

I couldn't get the Porsche protectant from the dealer, so I bought BMW's stuff instead. It's about 10 times less expensive when you account for how many applications you get.
It was $30. I've used it twice, and still have enough for at least ten more. It's been about 6 months since I used it last, and water still beads up on the top. I recommend it highly.

The Porsche Top Protectant really needs to be applied on the S2K top in one application. I bought it from autopedia.com and tried to split it into two applications (half bottle at one time) but honestly does not make the top bead water that much. For $14.95, I would try the 303 Top Protectant from 3M next time.
