Default Possible Ebay Scam?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HONDA-S2K-V...sspagenameZWDVW

Seems too good to be true and must be, i have also had contacts from other ebay bidders that this auction is a scam. I know he could easily sell on forum and make double his ebay asking price, however if i am wrong about this guy, can anyone vouch for it being legitimate?

Give him a call... Talking to a person can often let you know whether you feel it's a scam or not...

without being able to access ebay from work, I leave you with this bit of wisdom. Ever rich mother f'ers won't sell cars for 50% less than they're worth.

Not sure about a supercharger making more power than a turbo or a bigger pulley making more power. Maybe he just doesn't know anything about the car he drives as its only for show? Description is obvious BS but you never know.

Give him a call although I wouldn't get my hopes up.

It's a scam. He moves all around florida, last week it was Davenport (but when a local contacted him he claimed that he was actually in Miami).

I believe Miami is his likely location, but it's a scam.

Having just bought an '06 S2K on EBay ($23.5K), I will tell you that the scams outnumber the true deals by 50:1. Common scams are non existent cars (eg, scammers just copy car details off a cars.com ad) and phony second chance offers. Tip off is "Free Shipping".

I won two phony auctions before I caught on. EBay Motors is up to their ears in scams.

And the remaining 90% of the ads are lame car dealers hoping to find an acorn (ie, "Even a blind hog finds an acorn once in a while" : Way high reserve prices; they just keep running the same useless ad while the car sits on the lot; nothing lost and you never know who might bite)

I contacted a guy on EBay about an RX7 for sale for a low but still reasonable price. He was local and I asked to see the car before bidding. He took the auction off Ebay right after he responded and said that he is currently working in another state and rarely goes home so he can't show the car. But he would gladly ship the car to me (30 miles away). I replied no thanks and good luck with the sale. Later I found the same pictures he used on Autotrader and the car was located in another state. I hate scammers.

Looks fishy to me.

I would not bid on this item unless I could do the final transaction face to face. No way would I send any money.
