Default Possible to launch, if rolling at 10mph

Just wanted to know.

I have '02, question is, If i'm in a roll at say 10mph, can i still launch?

if so at what RPM? will it put more strain on my rear diff?

will this be a good or bad idea.

Thanks.

I have been able to with no problems. The car takes off like a rocket.

Theoretically you could depress the clutch, let the rev's shoot up and then let off again... not sure if thats a good idea tho, lol.

IMO if your already moving, just be in the needed gear, and roll to WOT. Although this seems that it would be less stressfull on the S (a rolling launch) I don't know for sure?

You can launch the car from a stand still if you rev till the vtec engages, and ride the clutch for a split second.... suppose it could be adapted... I'm not entirely sure what kind of strain it puts on the car, but I would assume that it would be the same with other rwd cars...

Don't know if it is any worse than launching from stop.
